Product Marketing Manager (Massachusetts or Vermont)
CN is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead technical marketing, market research, and product management. Responsibilities in technical marketing include creating and maintaining sales and marketing tools for software products and engineering design services, creating software product demonstrations using various multi-media tools, training field sales and channel partners on products and messaging, and, in close coordination with the Marketing Programs Manager, innovating and launching successful marketing campaigns. Market Research responsibilities will include gathering data through various sources, researching industry and customer needs, interacting with customers to gather feedback and requirements, and analyzing competitive products. Product Management responsibilities include assisting in product development for future software products, representing the customer's voice, developing product pricing and packaging based on market research, and conducting successful launches of new products and releases. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is expected, along with 5-8 years of engineering experience in the area of turbomachinery design and development is a strong plus. Experience using CAE tools to design turbomachinery is important along with the ability to create multimedia presentations using various tools such as Camtasia Studio and MS PowerPoint. Excellent communication and presentation skills are extremely important along with the ability to work both independently and as a team member. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical base with a flair and desire for marketing to best present CN services to our customers.
