Job: Physical Therapist, Rehab, Full Time

In consultation with the referring provider, this physical therapy position is responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing & documenting a plan of treatment for patients of all ages looking to overcome their illness or injury. The physical therapist role also involves administering interventions ranging from therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, and adaptive devices and equipment, to physical agents and electrotherapeutic modalities. The focus is to provide individuals with the rehabilitation & restoration of day-to-day functionality to improve their ability to perform tasks within their living environment. In addition, this position is responsible for clinical supervision of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, & students. The primary setting of this physical therapist will be inpatient acute care with ability to cross train to sub-acute, outpatient & home care settings.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited university or college required. One year experience in home care setting preferred. Prior physical therapy experience preferred. Valid Vermont State Physical Therapist license required.
