Jobing Description

* Reports to Director of New Business Development * Identifies sales opportunities by compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites and other sources * Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit new business from new accounts by selling Mack's capabilities and services * Generates and manages quotation activity from targeted accounts * Serves as the liaison between Mack and potential customers * Quotes prices and credit terms and assists with preparation of sales agreements for orders obtained * Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of Mack's production and delivery capabilities * Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts * Facilitates the transition of new business to Business Units in a professional, timely and orderly manner * Attends trade shows * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Candidate should have: * Willingness to travel frequently in the U.S. * Bachelor's degree plus one to two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination * Strong language skills that allow candidate to analyze and interpret technical information and procedures, write reports and procedure manuals, and effectively present information to managers, customers and the general public * Mathematical ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry * Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form * Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and project management software.
