The Sensors and Integrated Systems (SIS) division in Vergennes, Vermont has a position for an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer within the Core Engineering organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
Mechanical CAD work ranging from 3D parametric modeling to 2D legacy document maintenance. Interaction with mechanical engineers to convert design concepts to specific accurate models and drawings. Modify existing drawings per ECO. Manage parts lists. Interface with document management system and load ERP BOM. Monitor outside resources as needed.
Basic Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Associates degree or equivalent mechanical technology/CAD
Experience with major CAD package (e.g. Pro/E, Catia, Solidworks).
Strong in drafting practice
Good communication skills
Excellent process adherence
Detail oriented
Must display excellent teamwork and problem solving skills
Intermediate level skills in Excel
Can monitor and manage outside resources.
% Travel Required: < 10%
