Materials Manager (Vermont)
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Materials Manager has hands-on responsibility for master planning and scheduling for the products and operations groups. Principle responsibilities include compiling/reporting production data, organizing/publishing/driving production schedules, managing lower level day-to-day production planning, purchasing, and inventory control, preparing program reports for upper management, ensure progress towards program objectives and, along with the Director of Operations, review, recommend, and implement process improvements. An AD or B.Sc. or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment is required. 5-10 years of experience in planning/scheduling and 2-5 years of supervisory experience is expected. Experience with complex manufacturing and assembly in a short-run or custom manufacturing environment is beneficial along with ISO processes. Must have Visual Manufacturing or Microsoft Dynamics experience along with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
