This position is responsible for managing all aspects of delivering construction phase services on a broad range of civil engineering projects from bid phase through final completion, hiring and supervising resident project representatives, complying with state and federal funding agency requirements, performing constructability and quality control/quality assurance reviews of in-house contract documents, maintaining a cost estimating database and assisting with cost estimating, identifying/pursuing business development opportunities and proposal preparation for construction services, and assisting/leading project design activities when necessary. This position requires good communication skills with Contractors, Owners and funding agencies. Construction experience required. An engineering degree, professional registration, transportation and municipal infrastructure experience are preferred. This position is based in our Randolph, Vermont office, and requires periodic travel to project sites.
