Position Description:Bennington College seeks a full-time faculty member in
computing, beginning Fall 2012. Applicants with traditional and
non-traditional backgrounds in computer science are encouraged;
experience in development of computational approaches in diverse
disciplines is particularly desirable.

Candidates must have the ability to reach beyond the
boundaries of the traditional computer science curriculum. The
position requires working with students from the social sciences,
math and science, and digital and media arts, and the successful
candidate will work with faculty from across the disciplines to
develop curricular offerings. An advanced degree in areas
involving computer science and application in the liberal arts
and sciences or fine arts is desirable, but not required.
