Description:
General Description: Coordinate delivery of services in a dynamic environment. Work with service providers such as USPS and FEDEX to deal with pickup and delivery exception issues which may occur. Facilitate access to and monitor printing facilities.

Specific Responsibilities:

Coordinate the relationships with shipping companies and the USPS to assure World Learning is getting lowest possible rates and utilizing all productivity tools
Monitor and report copier use, as required by the ICON contract, so World Learning will receive replacement toner.
Direct students to enter their own change of address information at www.usps.gov
Coordinate mail delivery with the Sodexo employee, to the World Learning departments
Sort and deliver Grad student mail to their boxes in the student center
Assign mail boxes to on & off campus grad students
Maintain adequate paper supplies for the copy center: by color, weight and finish.
Take physical inventory of printed materials stored on World Learning property (currently in Black Mountain garage)
Coordinate mass and bulk mailings through the fulfillment house which offers the best value
Maintain relationships with multiple fulfillment and mailing services to meet the needs of World Learning
Manage receipt and delivery if student mail.
Coordinate delivery if shipments received.
Provide access to postage as requested by Students, Faculty and Staff.
Direct incoming shipments, delivery to the proper area for delivery and signature by requestor.
Handle routing of mail that is misdirected or undeliverable due to issues.
Manage transition from full service mailroom to self service.
Manage transition from full service print shop to self-help print services
Coordinate deliveries of incoming shipments such as paper during transition phase.
Work with Finance and IT to roll out corporate FEDEX shipping for outgoing shipments and identify and setup users during transition period.
Identify and manage any issues during the transition which can be automated and develop plans to automate them.
Handle any other processes which have been identified which cannot be automated.
Coordinate with departments with assignments of mailboxes and keys.
Identify and solve any logistical problems that arise during the transitional phase.
Handle all delivery exceptions and route to appropriate departments.
Develop instructions and instruct users on equipment use as needed.
Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Required Experience:
Ability to work with shifting schedules and some stress.
Ability to set priorities.
Professional and courteous manner with all customers.
Strong organizational skills.
Computer experience, specifically with Word and Excel.
Ability to move cartons weighing up to forty pounds.
Data input/typing skills.

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent with business/bookkeeping course.
