Job Summary/Basic Function: Under the supervision of the AA/EO Director, conduct formal and informal investigations of all university policies and state and federal laws related to discrimination and harassment. Collaborate with Police Services, General Counsel, Women's Center and Student and Campus Life, as needed, to ensure excellence in compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
(or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and four years of experience conducting formal investigations in higher education and/or public setting, or other large institutional environment required. Effective writing and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking and analysis. Experience investigating complaints of, and working with victims of, discrimination and harassment. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of University students, personnel, and affiliates, and across multiple disciplines. Working knowledge of state and federal laws related to non-discrimination. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice issues, and fostering a collaborative, multicultural environment.
